I do not know how many people out there are going to get excited about the Scientists and Engineers for Change Road Tour 2004, but I know I’m all jazzed. I might even make a contribution (it is a 527, so my name will not be appearing on any websites). Scientists and Engineers for Change Road Tour 2004 kicked off this past Monday and is coming soon to a swing state near you.
Today in Salon, Katharine Mieszkowski posted an interview with one of the organization’s founders, Dr. Douglas Osheroff, a Nobel Laureate from Stanford (Does George Bush even know what science is?). As you may be able to tell from the title of the article and the name of the group, these scientists and engineers are out to support Kerry. The organization’s webpage includes comparisons of Kerry and Bush on education, energy, environment, health, innovation & jobs, and national security and Kerry comes out looking good every time.
Among the active participants in the group is TechPolicy favorite, Dr. John Holdren of Harvard.
