we are the farmers in satara district tal-koregaon state-maharashtra. we are sending our crops like vegetables,flowers etc.to mumbai on daily basis from koyana express from last 40 years.our bookings destiotans are wathar station satara lonand. we are poor farmers we can not afford road transport which is not daily available we are sending these crops from last 40 years but your railway officers suddenly stop the bookings of these goods because we refuse to give him a extra money on bookings.so kindly help us and start the bookings of these goods because these are perishable goods and can not keep more than one day.our total finicial economics is depends on these crops.we know that you are first farmer and than rail minister so take the blessings of poor farmers and start the bookings.

The persons from SADGURU, OMKAR, SEAWOOD and TRIVENI SAGAR HSG SOC asked the builders to show the railway N.O.C but the builders replied that letters of railway authority have been filed only by the CIDCO (city and industrial development corporation) and NMMC(Navi Mumbai Municipal corporation) and nothing will be done in practical.
We are hereby request you that quick practical action should be taken by the railway authorities otherwise we shall highlighted the matter through media.

It is also surprising to us that the authorities have kept mum in this genuine matter. we are continuosly approaching to assistant engineer at MANKHURD to look into the matter but he is not taking care of it.
without any hasitation and fear without obtaining N.O.C from railway authorities,buikders are keeping continue construction work adjacent railway land withion 30.0 meters.
CIDCO authorities alloted the plots and the private builders are costructing four stories building
with unhealthy quality of materials.In ver near future,if these buildigs are collapsed the debris will hurt the track and train and serious accidents will occur in navi mumbai.CIDCO's authorities seem unfair in this respect.They are misusing their power which results illegal constrction.
Members of four socities filed their case (180/06)in vashi court against plot nos. B/12/2 to B/12/6,.near seawood's darave rly station (EAST), sector 23,nerul navi mumbai-400706.our building are at the end of railway land.
Therefor we request the railway authorities to intervene in this genuine matter.we further request the authorities to survey the sites and fix the instruction -board to stop the illegal onstructon railway land without railway's N.O.C. it will be unfair to hide the truth.

Subject- Misbehaviour of TTE,Mr P K Rao chair car(a/c) in train no.8626 dated 5thnov.,07 having PNR No.-6209402340.
Sir,
This is for your kind information that my father and ailing mother ,shri M P Singh(67yr old) and Smt Bhanu devi (62 years old)both were travelling in the said train on 5/11/2007 from Ranchi to Patna possessing the internet ticket . The said TTE(I/C) of coach no.-C1 misbehaved badly and assaulted several times in front of the passengers saying abruptly to get down from the coach declaring the validity of the ticket of my parents. My parents requested him to use proper language and respect to them but he kept on doing the same. I told him to obey the railway rule but he refused to do so. Ultimately he get down at Gommo junction and the next TTE joined the same duty at said junction and validated the same ticket by taking Rs200/- without giving any receipt.
For all such episodes the eyewitnesses are Mr S K singh(mob-9431707993) and Mr Rajesh both are working as a marketing manager for one pharma company i.e.. Systopic Ltd in the same train they were travelling that day.
TTE are mean to discharge their duty for the true satisfaction to the passengers not to humiliate or assault. This is a heineous crime whom both had done against a respectable social and retd. teacher.
At last I request you to take proper disciplinery action and inquiry against such fellows who are the black sheep in the railway department and oblige the undersigned.

Please increase the efficiency of MMTS trains, mainly from secunderabad to hitec city as most of the people travel through that area. even if we miss that train we have to stay for 1 1/2 hour to get the other one. pls arrange for more trains. Please stop the trains in station atleast for 3 minutes, let the people get into the trains. It only stops for 30 seconds hardly, just imagine how the people can get into. only Half of the family gets into remaining start shouting and crying!!!!!!!!!Feel bad for your

I saw that the employees who are in booking counter are very irresponsible. One of the person gave me the ticket after the train left. Hardly 2 people to issue tickets, one sits and eat, hardly one works, that to very slowly...... there r many people who want the job where they feel the responsibility. Pls chk out your employees how they work. This all happened in Secunderabad Railway Station.
i had a doubt, Do Sri Lallu Prasad Yadav reads these issues? Atleast do any of their department give him in the information? Railway government please work properly. u get all the benefits even though u dont work. that is making these all issues.
I am not saying all the employees in railway department doesnt work. There r people who also work more than they should. They should be given more benefits.....

The courier agency is asking my mother to collect the tickets from their shop.

IT WAS VERY STRANGE THING IN 22ND AC AND 3RD AC OF TRAINS NOS 2416 INTERCITY EXP,2962 AVANTIKA EXP.2951 MUMBAI RAJDHANI EXP. MAY I SUGGEST THAT THE SEATS NUMBERS MAY BE SHOWN TO THE CUSTOMERS BEFORE ISSUE OF TICKETS AS SHOWN IN THE AIRLINES. TO COMPETE WITH THE LOWFARE AIRLINES IT IS NECESSARY OTHERWISE THE PASSENGER WILL CURSE THE RAILWAYS FOR BAD EXPERIENCE AND THE TTE'S INDULGE IN CORRUPT PRACTICES OF ADJUSTMENT OF SEATS. Greetings to you from Michael Noronha. I am a resident of Mysore working at Bangalore. Amongst successful Managers you have an admirable and remarkable achievement in bringing the Indian Railways out of the red. May God bless your future endeavours.

Congratulations on starting the Bangalore- Mangalore Train via Mysore. After a long wait of over a decade the dreams of many commuters have come true, thanks to your efforts.

The purpose of writing this note is to request your goodself to explore the possibility of making a minor change in arrival timing of the Mangalore – Bangalore train at Mysore. Presently the train reaches Mysore at 3.50 am and departs for Bangalore at 4.00 am. This is a very risky and odd hour for the following reasons:
1. Finding transport at 3.30 am from residence to railway station is too difficult.
2. Risk of being robbed / threat to one’s life in the early hours while commuting on the roads is very high.

My humble request to you is to see if the train could arrive at 5.00 am and leave the Mysore station at 5.15 am for Bangalore. This will help the commuters in the following ways:
1. Every day hundreds of people travel to Bangalore on duty and they could reach office on time.
2. A minor change in the timings will ensure that attendance in Government offices will improve.
3. Punctuality in offices will help the common man redress his problems during office hours. It makes Government Employees responsive and responsible to the common people.
4. Number of commuters from Mysore, who presently are stationed at Bangalore, will shift residence to Mysore. This will decongest Bangalore to a considerable extent.
5. There will be no scuffle between the railway authorities and commuters for delay in reaching Bangalore Station in the mornings as it is happening now. (You must have read in the newspaper, trains being stopped by commuters for reaching Bangalore late; driver being beaten up etc.) The Present Passenger train leaves Mysore at 5.55 a.m and reaches Bangalore at 9.30 a.m and sometimes beyond 9.30 a.m. causing anxiety amongst commuters and resulting at times is fisticuffs.
6. Many families will be reunited since the train timing is convenient for daily travel. This will strengthen family values with the parents together.

Kindly consider this request sympathetically. It is only a minor change.

The Press Reports stated that the travel time to Bangalore – Mysore would be reduced by 30 minutes once the Bangalore – Bidadi two-line track was commenced. The two-line track did commence two months ago but the travel time seems to have increased by 30 minutes. This is most unfortunate. Such instances undermine the efficiency of the railways and your good work.

Kindly speed-up the two-line track upto Mysore and through your generosity electrify the line to reduce the travel time. Politics apart, these issues need to be viewed from a humanitarian angle. In the present times, employees are stressed out and spend most of their time commuting between work places.

While there is no doubt that you have improved the facilities for the commuters of Indian Railways a great bit, the pressures from different States and Political Parties do compel you to distribute equitably the resources for the good of all the citizens of our Country. Yet, you will help the people of Mysore City by:
1. Reducing the travel time from Mysore to Bangalore by One Hour. In modern times covering 140 kms in 3.30 hours is inefficiency. A train should cover this distance atleast by 2.15 hours.
2. Speed up the double line to Mysore from Ramnagaram to Mysore.
3. Make a small change of ensuring that the Mangalore – Bangalore train reaches Mysore at 5.00 am and depart for Bangalore at 5.15 am.

1. The female sr. citizen to get the lower berth by default if offered the reservation.
2. To increase the revenue, railway may think of putting some extra charge minimum Rs. 50 ~ 100. if you need the lower berth. this will increase the revenue as well as only needy people will get the seat. and if it is not taken may be offred to open public at later stage.

Please see report in BBC internet news today regarding child born accidentally and prematurely in the toilet of a running Indian train and falling on the tracks through the toilet chute.

The report describes and informs the whole world of the unhealthy, unhygienic, filthy, unsafe - condition of toilets of Indian Railways.

1)every coach in a train should have one alarm and these all alarms shold be linked with the main alarm at the driver .so that we can avoid some accidents while going in trains means at the time of leaving and climbing a train from a station

2)every coach in a train should have one a display whi\ch gives the details regarding fotrhcoming station and departured station so that people will be alarted in trains .these can be possible with gps and gsm navigation techonology.

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention to an issue relating to Medical department for your information and examination for implementation if considered justified.

I am a Railway employee of Medical department with more than 20 years experience. I find that every day substantial number of employee visit Railway hospital and get prescription issued at the hospital counter for treatment. But it has become a matter of practice that most of them do not attach due importance to the initial record in the form of prescription for treatment. There are cases where they do not bring their old prescription with them even on next day and request for another prescription for the same purpose. When enquired about the old prescription, they reply as having lost the same. This is a phenomenon going on the Railways hospital . In my opinion, the probable reason for such an act is that prescription is issued free of cost. This is not only a loss to the Railways but it also involves unnecessary work-load on the staff dealing with the matter.

In this context, it may be considered whether a system as practiced at IIMS/NEW DELHI can be introduced to cost Rs.2/- or 5/- to be borne by the employee for every new prescription. This will definitely reduce the tendency of mis-use as well as bring some money to the Railways which may be utilized for contingent nature of expenditure on Railway Hospital and accounted for under a fund named Medical Development Fund.

The above proposal is exclusively personal and may be viewed as such and consider for implementation for the interest of the Railways.

Mr S.C.Pathak had bribed the senior officials in delhi and mumbai for the post of mumbai division thereby transferring Mr.Manikram Pipraiyya to Bhusawal Division and within minutes of his seating in his post see the crime he does..........what is the future of railways keeping this corrupt officers who come out of bail so easily??????

MUMBAI: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday arrested assistant commercial manager (Central Railway) SC Pathak for demanding illegal gratification in the form of a cell phone from a ticket checker (TC) for clearing the latter’s travel allowance and night duty allowance bills.

The order for transferring Pathak from his current post was issued by CR authorities just a few hours before he was nabbed by the CBI.

A senior CBI official said, “The complainant had paid Pathak Rs10,000 just a few months back relenting to the latter’s demand. Once again when he submitted his TA and night allowance bills for clearance in the office, Pathak demanded a grey-coloured Nokia (6300 model) cell phone.”

At 6 pm, Pathak, who was aware of his transfer, was waiting in his office for the complainant to arrive. Moments after he accepted the phone, he was arrested by the CBI.

“Under the definition of the law on corruption, illegal gratification of any kind is a cognisable offence. Besides, we have the transcripts of the phone conversations between Pathak and the ticket collector where the demand was made for the mobile phone in lieu of clearing the latter’s legitimate dues. Moreover, the phone was purchased by the TC from a mobile store and the same piece was recovered from Pathak’s possession,” said the CBI officer.

Pathak was produced before the special CBI court on Tuesday that released him on bail.

Why are you opening new trains ? you should reorganize your old trains and you will get at least 100 trains for different places without overloading the railway lines. I think you donot know about your worker efficiency. The efficiency of your operational worker is very low. So keeping in view of these official and person you should not open new train . just reorganize the old train. I have a great idea. If you will contact me I am sure your railway will be benefited lot. I know you are a great person and it may possible you feel insulting while reading my this text.
Now you can loose your short distance goods and passenger revenue because four laning of roads are complete and your train is taking too much time to reach any destination for example: Ranchi –Patna Exp taking more than 11 hour to reach just 425 km with double line. You know this ranchi patna exp in returning from patna to ranchi take only 9.15 minutes . You should ask about your operation staff?
